Effect of Cr powder on thermal conductivity and mechanical property of diamond tool

摘要: 以金刚石微粉、铜锡合金、石墨和醋酸乙烯基聚合物为主要原料,采用热压烧结法制备青铜基金刚石砂轮,探讨合金化元素Cr对砂轮导热性能和力学性能的影响。结果表明:相比Cu77.6Sn14.4C1.0J7.0制备的砂轮,添加了合金化元素Cr的砂轮有更高的相对密度和热导率,可分别达到98.46%和110.43 W/(m·K);其弯曲强度、压缩强度和冲击韧性也更优越,分别为77.54 MPa、108.10 MPa和4.06 J/cm2,但两者的弯曲载荷-位移曲线和压缩载荷-位移曲线都表现出明显的脆性断裂特征。Abstract: Diamond powder,Cu-Sn alloy,graphite and vinyl acetate polymer were used the main raw material to prepare,Cu-matrix bonding diamond tool by hot-pressing sintering technique.The effect of Cr powder on thermal conductivity and mechanical property of diamond tool was investigated.Resultsshow that diamond tool with Cr powder has better thermal conductivity and mechanical property when compared to that without Cr powder:the relative density and thermal conductivity are about 98.46%and 110.43 W/(m·K);mechanical properties including flexural strength,compression strength and impact strength are 77.54 MPa,108.10 MPa and 4.06J/cm2,respectively.Both diamond tools show obvious characteristics of brittle fracture in their compressive and flexural load-displacement curves.
