Research on application of silicon in iron-copper alloy powder production by atomization process

摘要: 采用水雾化法制备铁铜40合金粉末,通过对不同硅铁用量下铁铜40粉末性能进行对比分析,探讨了硅铁用量对粉末性能的影响规律。研究结果表明:硅铁应用于水雾化法铁铜40粉末生产,脱氧效果明显;当加入硅铁中硅质量分数低于1.5%时,可以大幅度降低半成品的氧质量分数,并有助于降低成品氧质量分数;但当产品对硬度和抗弯强度要求较高时,应减少硅铁的使用。Abstract: Fe-Cu40 alloy powder is prepared by the water-atomization method.The property of Fe-Cu40 powder is compared at different dosages of ferrosilicon.Accordingly,the effect of ferrosilicon dosage on the powder property is clarified.The results show that excellent deoxidation efficiency is obtained when ferrosilicon is used in the water-atomization process for the production of Fe-Cu40 alloy powder.When the mass fraction of Si in the ferrosilicon is below 1.5%,the oxygen content in the semi-finished product can be reduced greatly,therefore decreasing the oxygen content of final product.But the dosage of ferrosilicon should be reduced when producing the powder of high hardness and bending strength.
